Consyn Framework for AJAX technology

The Consyn Framework is a set of libraries and components to enable easy creation of Rich Internet Applications. It allows developers to create highly interactive webapplications without knowledge of Javascript and without locking them in a particular serverside platform.

Consyn Framework Overview

The Consyn Framework will become available in May 2006. A preliminary version is now used in the FLEXlists project.

Possibilities

The Consyn Framework enables a very natural way of interacting with your webapplication. Think of features like drag and drop, normally only available in desktop applications. Furthermore there is support for single page interfaces, which make it possible to only reload the part of the page which has actually changed. The Rich Internet Applications which can be created using the Consyn Framework have a better user experience then traditional webapplications, without installing any plugins.

Consyn is targeted at developers who would like to use this innovative technology without investing time in the underlying technological issues like cross-browser compatibility.

Technology

The Consyn Framework is based on client-side technology which is now commonly called AJAX technology. 2Vi has been using the underlying technologies for years and has a broad experience with the implementation. The use of standards enables a cross-platform library which works in all modern browsers.

The Consyn Framework is much more then just a framework for AJAX technology, it offers several ready to use components to improve user interaction. Furthermore it is easy to integrate it in webapplications independent of the serverside platform.
